After some people brought this up she did clarify that there will be select prints available on a separate website for the charity. Mariah jumped on the chance, and decided the proceeds of the Bee Keeper Mei lewd set will go to charity. At the day of the shoot Mariah announces the charity will actually be for Hurricane Harvey/ Irma relief. Mariah may raise money and then donate said money directly to the charity, but having already done the shoot and with the shoot being incredibly lewd/ p*rnographic she will most likely not be partnered with a charity for this, just an fyi to everyone. She will be completely in charge for sending in the money to whatever charity she chooses. After saying the money will go to hurricane relief, Mariah then goes on Twitter addressing people’s misgivings over it, and claiming that no one else is doing anything to help but she is, implying she is exempt from criticism. Just a little note from the owner here, this actually pissed me off incredibly. First of all, Mariah was planning the lewd set with Bee Mei before she ever thought to donate to hurricane relief, probably even before someone suggested she do it to donate to the bees. So for her to say she’s doing more than what she was already going to do anyway, is misleading, and almost an outright lie. Second of all, she has no idea what other people are doing, or even what they have been through. There is nothing wrong with people wanting more info about these type of situations, the internet is full of sh*tty people, so people want to know that she has her ducks in a row. And lastly, she clearly does NOT have her ducks in a row. The decision for the money to go to hurricane relief seems to be last minute, she does not have a charity in a mind despite promoting that the money will go to a charity, she hasn’t stated what percentage of sales will go, when it will be donated etc. Not to mention her history of sending out prints is HORRID, she is months behind on her Patreon print rewards, so the idea of her running a charity sale for some prints is honestly scary since she has no organizational or even business skills. She has also not been very clear about how to purchase these charity prints. Hours later she makes a tweet saying if you want the Bee Keeper Mei set, to sign up for her Patreon. This led a lot of people to misunderstanding HOW she will be raising the money. Will people have to pay $50 to get the set and some of that will be donated? Please understand there have been multiple people that brought up how this is sketchy af. Including an ex photographer of hers who claimed she was being fraudulent about it, and then said the reason they stopped working with Mariah was because she did not credit his photos. This led to Mariah spazzing out on Twitter for what seemed like a good hour, as well as making IG story after IG story about how this photographer is “a little bitch” and claiming he is slandering her. I plan on making a separate post about this, but please know that this photographer has leaked DMs between the two of them that show off her how unprofessional she is with photogs, asking for raws and telling him how to edit herself. I would say, if you’re reading this and want to donate to hurricane relief by buying her prints, don’t. I’m not saying this because I don’t like her, but simply because she is unreliable. She has no idea how to properly go about doing this, she will NOT be affiliated with any charity so she will be in charge of directly making sure the money gets sent to a charity. She can’t even do her monthly patreon rewards without getting 6+ months behind, I can’t see her a) even sending the prints out to people and b) sending the money to a charity. Your money will be lost into the abyss, do not do it. Instead donate to other charities directly such as: The Red Cross Hurricane Irma Relief Fund Barbuda Relief Fund Unicef And so many others.
