ABOUT OUR BRIDESMAID DRESSES

Why shop at Birdy Grey? First, bridesmaid dresses start at $99. We have beautiful chiffon styles, chic satin looks, sumptuous velvet gowns, and so much more. Brides love our broad collection of colors, and bridesmaids are in love with our versatile styles and inclusive sizing. No matter your wedding aesthetic, we have a bridesmaid dress to fit your vibe. Having a summer wedding? Our airy chiffon and sleek satin gowns are fan favorites. Spring brides, we’ve got you covered with our dusty mix-and-matchable hues. Fall and winter brides love our velvet gowns, in elegant emerald, romantic cabernet, and more.

Absolutely! While our newest bridesmaid dress styles are made to order, we have a great assortment of ready-to-ship bridesmaid dresses that can be delivered to your door in 5-10 business days. Check out our ready-to-ship bridesmaid dress page for the most up-to-date look at our in-stock collection.

For brides and bridesmaids, we always suggest leaving enough time for alterations, no matter where you’re buying a dress. We intentionally design our dresses to be long enough to fit even the tallest bridesmaids, so, our petite pals will usually need to take a little off the bottom.

We have a stunning collection of varying silhouettes and necklines to flatter a range of figures (and we’re all about size-inclusivity so we carry XS-3X!). However, if you’re looking for one dress to get the job done, the Grace Convertible is your solution, as each bridesmaid can tie the front streamers to customize the neckline from romantic butterfly sleeves to a sexy Grecian look.

We have tutorial videos on exactly how to achieve each look, from halter to off-the-shoulder, and even a variety of back options (because an exit is just as important).

First, you’ll need the following: a 60-inch measuring tape, a notepad & pen, a form-fitting outfit, and your day-of heels. Next, you’ll want to focus on these 4 key spots and write down each measurement: bust, waist, hips, and dress length. Keep in mind that you don’t want to tug the measuring tape too tightly—you’ll want some breathing room! For more details, watch our step-by-step video.

The easiest “rule” to follow is to stick to either one color and vary the necklines or choose two shades in one color family (for example, varying shades of green like sage and sea glass). If you want to add a little more interest, you can add in additional colors that have a similar vibe. We’ve seen brides mix pale blush, dusty rose, and mauve and their parties look stunning! If you need some more help and inspo, we also have free moodboards that you can download on our site.

We know that along with the right silhouette, the fabric is key in achieving a certain look for your wedding day. Head over to our Fabric 101 and discover our fabric options in chiffon, mesh, tulle, crepe, and satin, and don't forget to order swatches before committing (you get 3 for free)!

All made to order dresses take up to 8 weeks and are eligible for returns & exchanges. However, an exchange may take an additional 8 weeks and returns will incur a $10 restocking fee. Please note that made-to-order is currently available to U.S. customers only and expedited shipping is not available for the program.
